Skyvision and Stretch Announce Integration of Skyvision’s Industry Leading DVR Software with Stretch VRC6000 Series DVR Cards

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 25, 2009 – Stretch Inc., the pioneer and leader in software configurable processors, and Skyvision, a leading Chinese supplier of DVR software, today announced availability of Skyvision’s NBV6 DVR software working with the Stretch VRC6000 Series DVR cards. The partnership combines the unprecedented performance of the Stretch VRC6000 Series with the rich feature set and reliability of the Skyvision NBV6 software. Skyvision’s DVR software is sold in over 40 countries across the world, and claims a 40 percent market-share position in mainland China.

“We are very happy to be partnering with Stretch to offer our NBV6 software ported to VRC6000 cards,” said Ms. Cai, manager of Skyvision’s overseas department. “With their high channel density, full D1 capture, and true H.264 encoding, these cards provide a high-performance capture system that allows us to showcase the high performance and industry-leading features of our DVR application.”

Skyvision’s NBV6 software utilizes the true H.264 D1 hardware compression of the VRC6000 Series cards to deliver high quality video compression with a minimum of storage consumption. The feature-rich graphical user interface of the DVR application provides easy access to both recorded video and live video feeds. In addition, alarms generated from the VRC6000 cards’ embedded analytics can be used to optimize recording modes to capture the best possible record of the observed scene.

VRC6000 Series DVR cards use Stretch software configurable processor technology to perform video pre-processing, embedded analytics and up to 16 channels of true H.264 compression on a single PCIe add-in card. A rich Application Programmer’s Interface (API), common to all Stretch DVR cards, provides easy access to all the built in functionality and allows rapid porting of existing DVR applications. “We are very excited to see Skyvision’s application ported to our VRC6000 Series,” commented Bob Beachler, Stretch vice president of marketing. “Using the Stretch API, Skyvision was able to port its DVR application in record time, giving our customers ready-access to a high performance turnkey solution for their video surveillance requirements.”

Skyvision NBV6 software is available immediately from Skyvision. Stretch VRC6000 Series DVR add-in cards are available from Stretch.
