The VRC6000SW includes firmware and host software for Stretch VRC6000 Series PCIe DVR add-in cards, including drivers and application programmers' interfaces. Also included are documentation and header files to allow OEMs and system integrators to write software to access the features and functionality of VRC6000 series cards.
The firmware provides the functionality of the card and includes the Stretch Intelligent Encoder and analytics, video pre-processing, and all CODEC plug-ins – everything required to capture and compress video using the intuitive API interface. All packages come with one year of support, including updates and feature additions via the Stretch customer portal.
The VRC6000SW also contains source code for all host computer drivers and API code. A sample DVR application is provided in both executable and source code form as an example of how to use API calls to implement a fully featured DVR application. The driver and API documentation provides OEMs and system integrators visibility to the interface methodology to facilitate porting existing third-party applications.
